THE CREATIVE SPIRIT (1992) - IBM/PBS/A.H. Perlmutter Prod. The workings of the imagination and creativity in the arts, education and the workplace were the themes of this IBM-sponsored PBS series. Canemaker transforms an iconic spiral into the personification of the creative spirit. This single-line 'character' stars in several animated sequences exploring abstract concepts, including a jazz fantasy improvisation by saxophonist Benny Golson.
